Method |
Place
everything but the olive oil into a medium-size mixing bowl.
Whisk the ingredients together. |
Begin
to drizzle in the olive oil, whisking until all oil is added
and the vinaigrette becomes emulsified. Variously, place all
the ingredients in a lidded jar and shake vigorously until
emulsified or place ingredients in a blender or food
processor and blend. |
Add
the vinaigrette to the salad ingredients, toss gently but
thoroughly and enjoy! Garnish with whole basil sprigs or a
mound of basil julienne in the center of the salad. |
