Artichoke Pesto & Sausage Pizza

Ingredients
2 Isernio’s Chicken Basil & Sun Dried Tomato sausages
4 small (5”) pre-made pizza crusts
1/2 cup prepared lemon artichoke pesto (or your favorite type)
1 cup shredded cheese blend (divided)
1 cup crimini mushrooms, sliced
1/4 cup green pepper, chopped
1/4 cup scallions, sliced
   
Method
Cook the sausages over medium heat until done. Slice thinly and set aside.
Sautee the mushrooms in a small skillet, with oil or cooking spray, until tender. Set aside.
Spread 2 Tb pesto on each pizza crust. Sprinkle cheese evenly on pizzas.
Place sausage, mushrooms, green peppers and scallions on top of cheese.
Bake at 450° for 8-10 minutes, or until cheese starts to get golden around the edges.
Use your imagination and change the toppings according to your family’s tastes!
